Lighthouse park is probably one of the most scenic parks in Vancouver with the greatest views. There are a great number of different forested trails in this park as well as lookout points throughout. One of the most incredible views is at the Juniper Point trail which shows a beautiful coastline view with waves crashing against the rocks as well as the islands and sailboats out in the open ocean. There is nothing like sitting on these rocks in the sunshine taking in this amazing view. The trails in this park are also fairly easy so anybody can do these trails and take in this beauty that this park offers. This park is one of my favourites for sure. Another beach to explore nearby is Dundarave beach which is about 20 minutes driving from Lighthouse park and has some beautiful ocean views and a shorter seawall than Stanley park, but is nice because it is not as crowded to walk through. There are some pretty big waves that hit this beach and it is fun to sit on the benches and watch mother nature in awe. There is also a concession stand at this beach and many picnic benches so you can easily make a day of this beach with family and friends.
